		July 12, 2005 Opel Signum: The Best European Car The Opel brand achieved an excellent position in all of the individual categories in J.D. Power’s 2005 Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) in Germany. With an improvement of 5.1 percentage points, it boasts the largest stride forward among German automakers since the initial survey in 2002. Individual CSI categories surveyed were vehicle quality and reliability, style and layout as well as satisfaction with customer service and running costs.

		April 12, 2005 Victory for the Opel Zafira HydroGen3 Fuel Cell Vehicle at Rallye Monte Carlo The Opel Zafira HydroGen3 took first place in the fuel cell class at the “Rallye Monte Carlo Fuel Cell and Hybrid”. In the overall standings the hydrogen-powered Opel Zafira was third, following two hybrid cars. A total of 13 vehicles started the Rallye, five of which were powered by fuel cells.

		November 2004 New Opel Astra: High-Tech and Dynamics in the Compact Class Progressive design and driving dynamics are the outstanding features that distinguish the new five-door Opel Astra. This third-generation of the Opel bestseller will make its sales debut in November. The Astra introduces into the segment the adaptive IDSPlus suspension with Continuous Damping Control (CDC), which was previously reserved for luxury vehicles and for exclusive sports cars.

After the Opel Speedster (Geneva 2000), the Tigra TwinTop, which is having its world premiere at this years Geneva Motor Show, is the second Opel model to receive this important award established in 1994.
